Harry was our Master Technician and was with James Plumbing for over 53 years. He established a reputation for his expertise, knowledge, and honest hard work.
People frequently requested Harry by name, or sometimes simply by description as “the little guy” because everyone knew exactly who they meant. He was a lifetime plumber to the families he served.
Harry will always be part of this company’s story.

Wayne James did not just build a plumbing company. He built a reputation that has stood the test of time.
In 1968, with only $500, a pickup truck, a few tools, and a strong work ethic, Wayne founded James Plumbing Company in Little River, South Carolina. He believed every customer deserved honest advice, quality workmanship, and to be treated like family.
Working side by side with his wife, Linda, Wayne poured his heart into growing the business one customer at a time. He understood that trust was not earned through advertising. It was earned by showing up, doing the job right, and standing behind his work.
Those values became the foundation of James Plumbing and continue to guide the company today.
Wayne’s legacy is about more than plumbing. It is about integrity, dedication, and a genuine commitment to serving the community. More than five decades later, the principles he established continue to inspire the family business he created and the generations of customers who have placed their trust in the James name.
